On the Brooklyn Bridge

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Victoria, for PicTrip.com. Before going into how the day went, I'll tell you a bit about Victoria.

She was visiting from England. She writes a travel blog, pommietravels.com; can you say dream job?! She was also very sweet. The shoot took place early Saturday morning. This was smart since she choose Dumbo for her photo shoot.

I know what you're thinking "Dumbo?...everyone goes to Dumbo for photo shoots, be it weddings or sweet sixteen portraits." Well there's a reason people love getting their picture taken there, it's a great location!

I would have my picture taken there as well if didn't hate being in front of the camera. I love Dumbo, especially early in morning when no one is there and you don't have to fight for space with other photographers.

So, not only was she very nice, and has a dream job, she also has good taste in locations. The day went well. It was extremely cold and windy, but we braved the weather. She was a great subject to photograph, very easy going. After spending some time around Janes Carousel, we made our way to the Brooklyn Bridge. Luckily it wasn't congested with people when we got there, but we did have to dodge a few bikes, and selfies. It was her first time on the bridge. She enjoyed it. After the shoot was over, she pulled out her own camera and started taking photographs.
